Golf

The golf course at the North Andover Country club provides golfers with the most spectacular of backdrops. From views of Lake Cochichewick, to teeing off over rolling hills, to the spacious holes tucked back in the woods, golfers enjoy a variety of scenery.

The 9-hole Donald Ross designed course can be quite a challenge from the most novice player to a professional skill level. The course provides 3, 4, and 5 par holes. At one legendary hole, golfers have to tee up, and then drive their ball across Great Pond Road to reach the green. But fear not, if your ball happens to soar straight into the telephone pole or wires, you get to try again without being penalized.

Members enjoy golf events such as the Nine, Wine, and Dine and the truly unique night golfing with glow-in-the-dark golf balls. There are programs and special events for men’s golf, women’s golf, and junior golf. For those who want to putter around a bit, a putting green is also available.

Members coming to golf at the NACC often have the luxury of showing up to golf and being able to step out to the first tee just moments later, without having to wait for a tee time. The course begins and ends at the clubhouse, providing golfers with a bit of an audience of those watching from the dining room or pool area.

So tee up, aim far, shoot for the green, with the best of luck a hole-in-one, with the worst of luck just yell…FORE!
